 The 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞, 𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐥𝐞 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞, or 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞 (𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐚 𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐚) is a 𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐰𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫 in the 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐞 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲, 𝐆𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐞. This species is only 𝟏𝟔.𝟓–𝟏𝟖.𝟓 𝐜𝐦 in 𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡, with a 𝟒𝟐–𝟒𝟖 𝐜𝐦 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐩𝐚𝐧.This bird has 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐬, 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 and a 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥. Its 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐥 is an 𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐩𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 to 𝐚𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠.  The 𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐛𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐭 (𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬 𝐠𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐢) is a 𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐥, 𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐛𝐢𝐭-𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐜 to 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐚, being native to the 𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐚 and 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐚. It is one of 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐬𝐮𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐨𝐭 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 in the 𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐮𝐬 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐬.  𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐤 is a national park encompassing 𝐦𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬, 𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐫𝐬, 𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬, and 𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬 in 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚. The 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐚 𝐝𝐞𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐞 is the 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐜𝐞 of the park. It lies in a 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐚 between the 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐬 and the 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐬. The park is located 𝟏𝟏𝟐 𝐤𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 of 𝐏𝐮𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐨 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 and 𝟑𝟏𝟐 𝐤𝐦 𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐡 of 𝐏𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚 𝐀𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐚𝐬.  The 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐠 or 𝐛𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐠 (𝐃𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐮𝐬 "𝐚𝐳𝐮𝐫𝐞𝐮𝐬") is a 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐠 found in the "𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐬𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬" surrounded by the 𝐒𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐰𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐒𝐚𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 in 𝐬𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐞.  The blue poison dart frog is a 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐮𝐦-𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐠 that 𝐰𝐞𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐬 𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝟖 𝐠 and 𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐬 to 𝟑.𝟎–𝟒.𝟓 𝐜𝐦 in 𝐬𝐧𝐨𝐮𝐭–𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐠𝐭𝐡. 𝐅𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 are 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 and on average about 𝐡𝐚𝐥𝐟 𝐚 𝐜𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐞 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬, but 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐬 have 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐨𝐞𝐬. Indian Cobra

 The 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐚 (𝐍𝐚𝐣𝐚 𝐧𝐚𝐣𝐚), also known commonly as the 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐜𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐚, 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐚, or 𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐚,is a species of cobra, a venomous snake in the 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐄𝐥𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐞. The species is native to the 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐬𝐮𝐛𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐧𝐭, and is a member of the "𝐛𝐢𝐠 𝐟𝐨𝐮𝐫" 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐬 that are responsible for the 𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐬𝐧𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐬 in 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚. The 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐜𝐨𝐛𝐫𝐚 is a 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐬𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝, 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐲-𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐝 species. This cobra species can easily be identified by it's 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐲 𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐞 𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐝, which it 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐰𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐝.Many specimens exhibit a hood mark.
