𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐥 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐞𝐮𝐬 was a 𝐒𝐰𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐛𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭 and 𝐩𝐡𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐧 who formalised 𝐛𝐢𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞, the 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 of 𝐧𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐦𝐬. He is known as the "𝐟𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐨𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐱𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲".  𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐉𝐚𝐧𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐬 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐥 𝐃𝐁𝐄 is an 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐳𝐨𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭, 𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭 and 𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭. She is considered the 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝'𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐬𝐭 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐭 on 𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐦𝐩𝐚𝐧𝐳𝐞𝐞𝐬, after 𝟔𝟎 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬 studying the social and family interactions of wild chimpanzees. She was born in 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟗𝟑𝟒 in 𝐇𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐋𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧.
