American Bullfrog

 The ๐€๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐š๐ง ๐›๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐  (๐‹๐ข๐ญ๐ก๐จ๐›๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ ๐œ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ๐›๐ž๐ข๐š๐ง๐ฎ๐ฌ)  is a large true frog native to eastern North America. 

The bullfrog gets its name from the sound the male makes during the ๐›๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐๐ข๐ง๐  season, which sounds similar to a bull bellowing.

The ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐Ÿ๐š๐œ๐ž of the bullfrog has an ๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐ ๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ง basal color, while the ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ž๐ซ ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ซ๐Ÿ๐š๐œ๐ž is ๐จ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ ๐ฐ๐ก๐ข๐ญ๐ž blotched with ๐ฒ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ or ๐ ๐ซ๐š๐ฒ. Bullfrogs measure about ๐Ÿ‘.๐Ÿ” to ๐Ÿ” ๐ข๐ง.Bullfrogs are ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฑ๐ฎ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐๐ข๐ฆ๐จ๐ซ๐ฉ๐ก๐ข๐œ, with males being ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ซ than females and having ๐ฒ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐จ๐š๐ญ๐ฌ.

The bullfrog is originally native to ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ง ๐๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก ๐€๐ฆ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐š, where it is commonly found in every US state ๐ž๐š๐ฌ๐ญ of the ๐Œ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ข ๐‘๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ.

Bullfrogs feed on ๐ซ๐จ๐๐ž๐ง๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฅ๐ข๐ณ๐š๐ซ๐๐ฌ, ๐ฌ๐ง๐š๐ค๐ž๐ฌ, ๐จ๐ญ๐ก๐ž๐ซ ๐Ÿ๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ฌ and ๐ญ๐จ๐š๐๐ฌ, other ๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ก๐ข๐›๐ข๐š๐ง๐ฌ, ๐œ๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก, ๐œ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐œ๐ž๐š๐ง๐ฌ, ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐›๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฌ, ๐ฌ๐œ๐จ๐ซ๐ฉ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ, ๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐š๐ง๐ญ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐š๐ฌ, ๐›๐š๐ญ๐ฌ, and ๐ข๐ง๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐›๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ such as ๐ฌ๐ง๐š๐ข๐ฅ๐ฌ, ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ข๐ง๐ฌ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ฌ.
