Red Kite

 The ๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐ค๐ข๐ญ๐ž (๐Œ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฌ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฌ) is a ๐ฆ๐ž๐๐ข๐ฎ๐ฆ-๐ฅ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐ž bird of prey in the family ๐€๐œ๐œ๐ข๐ฉ๐ข๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐๐š๐ž, which also includes many other ๐๐ข๐ฎ๐ซ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐ซ๐š๐ฉ๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ such as ๐ž๐š๐ ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐›๐ฎ๐ณ๐ณ๐š๐ซ๐๐ฌ, and ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ. The species currently breeds only in ๐„๐ฎ๐ซ๐จ๐ฉ๐ž, though it formerly also bred in ๐ฐ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐€๐ฌ๐ข๐š and ๐ง๐จ๐ซ๐ญ๐ก๐ฐ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ ๐€๐Ÿ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐š.The red kite was described by the ๐’๐ฐ๐ž๐๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐ง๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐‚๐š๐ซ๐ฅ ๐‹๐ข๐ง๐ง๐š๐ž๐ฎ๐ฌ in ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ– in the ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ญ๐ก ๐ž๐๐ข๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง of his ๐’๐ฒ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ฆ๐š ๐๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐š๐ž under the ๐›๐ข๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐š๐ฅ ๐ง๐š๐ฆ๐ž ๐…๐š๐ฅ๐œ๐จ ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ฎ๐ฌ.

Red kites are ๐Ÿ”๐ŸŽ to ๐Ÿ•๐ŸŽ ๐œ๐ฆ ๐ฅ๐จ๐ง๐  with a ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ“ ๐œ๐ฆ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐š๐ง,๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ weigh ๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ–๐Ÿ,๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐ , and ๐Ÿ๐ž๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ ๐Ÿ,๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ–๐Ÿ,๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐ .The ๐›๐จ๐๐ฒ, ๐ฎ๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ ๐ญ๐š๐ข๐ฅ and ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐œ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ญ๐ฌ are ๐ซ๐ฎ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ. 

The red kites are ๐ ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ ๐ฌ๐œ๐š๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ and  ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ž๐๐š๐ญ๐จ๐ซ๐ฌ. Their diet consists mainly of ๐œ๐š๐ซ๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐ฌ of ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ๐ ๐ž ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐œ ๐š๐ง๐ข๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ such as ๐ฌ๐ก๐ž๐ž๐ฉ and ๐ฉ๐ข๐ ๐ฌ, ๐ซ๐จ๐š๐๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ, and ๐ฌ๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐ž๐ ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก. They also take ๐ฌ๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐š๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ฅ๐ฌ such as ๐ฆ๐ข๐œ๐ž, ๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐ฌ๐ก๐ซ๐ž๐ฐ๐ฌ, ๐ฌ๐ญ๐จ๐š๐ญ๐ฌ, ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐  ๐ก๐š๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ and ๐ซ๐š๐›๐›๐ข๐ญ๐ฌ.๐‹๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐›๐ข๐ซ๐๐ฌ are also taken, especially ๐ฒ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐  or ๐ฐ๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐๐ž๐, such as ๐œ๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ฌ, ๐๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ซ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ฌ, ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ก๐ž๐ฌ, ๐ฅ๐š๐ซ๐ค๐ฌ, ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ฌ, and ๐ฐ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐Ÿ๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ๐ฌ.Occasionally ๐ซ๐ž๐ฉ๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ž๐ฌ and ๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ก๐ข๐›๐ข๐š๐ง๐ฌ are taken and ๐ข๐ง๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐›๐ซ๐š๐ญ๐ž๐ฌ such as ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ก๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ฌ form an important part of the diet.

Red kites inhabit ๐›๐ซ๐จ๐š๐๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐Ÿ ๐ฐ๐จ๐จ๐๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐๐ฌ, ๐ฉ๐š๐ฌ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ, ๐ฆ๐ข๐ฑ๐ž๐ ๐Ÿ๐š๐ซ๐ฆ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐, ๐ฏ๐š๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฒ๐ฌ and  ๐ฐ๐ž๐ญ๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž๐๐ ๐ž๐ฌ, up to at least ๐Ÿ,๐Ÿ”๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ ๐ฆ๐ž๐ญ๐ซ๐ž๐ฌ elevation.They are native to the ๐ฐ๐ž๐ฌ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ๐ง ๐๐š๐ฅ๐ž๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐œ.
