Russell's Viper

 ๐‘๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ'๐ฌ ๐ฏ๐ข๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ (๐ƒ๐š๐›๐จ๐ข๐š ๐ซ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐ข๐ข) is a ๐ก๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ฅ๐ฒ ๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฌ snake in the family ๐•๐ข๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐๐š๐ž. 

The species is named after ๐๐š๐ญ๐ซ๐ข๐œ๐ค ๐‘๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ, a ๐’๐œ๐จ๐ญ๐ญ๐ข๐ฌ๐ก ๐ก๐ž๐ซ๐ฉ๐ž๐ญ๐จ๐ฅ๐จ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ who first described many of India's snakes.

The snake's color pattern consists of a ๐๐ž๐ž๐ฉ ๐ฒ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ or ๐›๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ground color, with ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐ฌ๐ž๐ซ๐ข๐ž๐ฌ of ๐๐š๐ซ๐ค ๐›๐ซ๐จ๐ฐ๐ง ๐ฌ๐ฉ๐จ๐ญ๐ฌ  that run the length of the body.Russell's viper grows to a maximum body and tail length of ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ” ๐œ๐ฆ and averages about ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ ๐œ๐ฆ .

Russell's viper is found in ๐ˆ๐ง๐๐ข๐š, ๐’๐ซ๐ข ๐‹๐š๐ง๐ค๐š, ๐๐š๐ง๐ ๐ฅ๐š๐๐ž๐ฌ๐ก, ๐๐ž๐ฉ๐š๐ฅ, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐๐š๐ค๐ข๐ฌ๐ญ๐š๐ง.
